Organised by the Bauhinia Junior Chamber a total of 840 people para para danced to the music ‘Fantasy’ for over six minutes at the Charter Road Pedestrian Precinct, Hong Kong on 17 June 2001. Para para is a dance style popular in Asia and is a combination of line and club dancing with most movement on the dance floor made with the hands.
The largest paper clip measures 9 m 28 cm (30 ft 5 in) in height and 2 m 72 cm (8 ft 11 in) in width, and was created by Evgeny Stepovik in Miass, Russia. It was created from stainless steel and unveiled on 29 May 2010. The base of a paper clip is: length is 25 cm (10 in), width is 25 cm (10 in), depth is 20 cm (8 in). Weight is 530 kg (1168.45 lbs), (net weight, without bolts and supporting structure).
The largest paper mache sculpture measures 2.27 m (7 ft 5.5 in) high and has a circumference of 8.55 m (28 ft 1 in) and was created by Salem Lutheran School in Orange, California, USA, on 21 September 2010. The sculpture depicts earth.
The largest traditional Chinese paper cut-out artwork is 456.568 m² (4,914.44 ft²) and was created by Xiao-Dong Gao and Fang Yan (both China) in Hejin, Shanxi, China, on 18 October 2012. The cut-out depicted a traditional Chinese scene including elements such as bamboo, the Great Wall of China and historical figures Guangong and Confucious. The finished cut-out measured 17.36 m (56 ft 11.46 in) high and 36.30 m (119 ft 1.13 in) wide.
The largest building constructed entirely of paper had a base measuring 15.2 m x 17.9 m (49.8 ft x 58.7 ft), and was 6.4 m tall. The construction, which was unveiled at the APEC Investment Mart Thailand in Bangkok in October 2003, took the form of a traditional Thai house and was commissioned by the Thai Printing Association, the Thai Packaging Association, the Thai Printing Club and the Thai Corrugated Box and Paper Board Manufacturers Association. The largest panoramic postcard covers an area of 86.40 m² (930 ft²) and was achieved by Magyar Reumabetegek Egyesülete (Hungary) at Millenáris Park in Budapest, Hungary, on 12 October 2013. The postcard was created by the Association of Hungarian Rheumatoid Patients and depicts eight Hungarian cities. It measures 14.40 m (47.24 ft) in length and 6 m (19.69 ft) in height.
The largest pancetta was made by the Commune de Ponte dell’Olio and the Piacenza Chamber of Commerce, Piacenza, Italy and weighed 150.5 kg (331.79 lb). The giant pancetta was displayed at the Pancetta Festival at Primo Maggio Square, Pontedell’Olio on 23 June 2002. The largest parade of Alfa Romeo cars consisted of 526 vehicles and was organized by Klub lastnikov in ljubiteljev vozil Alfa Romeo Kraški gadje (Slovenia) in Gorjansko, Slovenia, on 27 May 2012. The parade route used was over 25 km (15.53) in length, well in excess of the required 3.2 km (2 miles) minimum.
The largest canopy formation consisted of 100 parachutes and was formed by an international team over Lake Wales, Florida, USA, on 21 November 2007. The formation was in the shape of a diamond, with each parachutist in contact with the canopy of the person below them.
