The record for the largest parade of Lotus cars is 436 and was organized by Lotus Cars Motorsport Vision and Lipscomb Lotus (all UK) and was set at the Snetterton Race Circuit in Norfolk, UK, on 14 June 2009. The cars completed 3 laps on the track which is 3.1232 km (1.952 miles) long.
The largest parade of Land Rover cars featured 348 vehicles and was achieved by Convoy for Heroes at the Jaguar Land Rover Proving Ground, Gaydon, Warwickshire, UK, on 24 April 2011. The route used on the track is known internally as the ‘Emissions’ circuit and is 6.075 km (3.73 miles) long. The parade featured two ‘Pink Panther’ Land Rovers, as used by the British SAS in desert reconnaisance missions, which weigh an impressive 3.5 tonnes (7,700 lb).
The largest parade of Jaguar cars is 767, and was organised by Silverstone Classic, Towcester, Northamptonshire (UK), on 23 July 2011. The parade of E-Type Jaguar cars was held in celebration of the car’s 50th anniversary. Cars were privately owned with many travelling from throughout Europe and North America to the Silverstone circuit.
