The largest rock the boat consists of 1,701 participants and was achieved by Stephen Murtagh, Brendan Kieran and the Carrick Carnival 400 Committee (Ireland) in Carrick-on-Shannon, County Leitrim, Ireland, on 2 June 2013. Funds were raised for the Irish Cancer Society.

The Canadarm 2, built by the Canadian Space Agency measures 17.5 m 57.7 ft in length and weighs 1641 kg 3618 lbs. It was attached to the International Space Station on 22 April 2001 during a 7-hour spacewalk by US astronaut Scott Parazynski and Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield – the first Canadian ever to walk in space. The largest robot dance consisted of 2,524 participants and was achieved by the National Association of College and University Residence Halls (USA) at the University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA, on 1 June 2013.

Largest road safety lesson

The Largest road safety lesson was attended by 1,917 participants and was organised by Abu Dhabi Police GHQ and Saaed (Both UAE) at the National Theatre, in Abu Dhabi, UAE, on 10 October 2011. The Road Safety lesson lasted for 45 minutes and covered the following topics: Driver Safety, Vehicle Safety and Motorcycle Safety.

Largest river island

Majuli in the Brahmaputra River in north east India covers an area of around 880 km² (340 miles²). Due to the frequent flooding of the Brahmaputra Majuli suffers heavy erosion. In the last 30-40 years it is estimated that it has lost around one third of its area. Majuli is home to around 160,000 people.

The world´s largest serving of risotto weighing 7.51 tonnes (16.556.69 lb) was made by the Ricegrowers’ Association of Australia and displayed at First Fleet Park, Circular Quay, Sydney, Australia on 26 November 2004. Chris Sheedy adjudicated.

The largest rideable bicycle has a wheel diameter of 3.3 m (10 ft 9.92 in) and was built by Didi Senft (Germany) and measured at Pudagla, Germany, on 2 October 2012. The bicycle measures 7.8 m (25 ft 7.09 in) long, 3.7 m (12 ft 1.67 in) high and weighs 150 kg (330.69 lb).

Largest royal family

The largest royal family is the house of Al-Saud of Saudi Arabia, which had over 4,000 royal princes and 30,000 royal relatives in 2002. The kingdom was established by the patriarch, King Abdul Aziz in 1932, who had 44 sons by 17 wives, four of whom have ruled the kingdom since the King’s death in 1953. Largest rowing class

The largest rowing class consisted of 191 participants rowing simultaneously and was achieved by Akademischer Sportverband Zürich (Switzerland), in Zurich, Switzerland, on 27 January 2012. The class lasted for 60 minutes on the concept2 indoor rowers and was taken by Florian Eigenmann who had previously held this record.
