5.23 million attacks were recorded during eWeek’s 17 day-long Openhack III competition, in which the latest security software, Pitbull, from Argus Systems Group Inc. was probed for weaknesses by the hacking community. Lakpa Sherpa (Nepal) successfully reached the summit of Mt Everest for the fifth time on 2 June 2005. She made the climb with her husband, George Demarescu (USA), who was himself completing his seventh ascent of the world¹s tallest mountain. The most artists working on the same art installation was achieved by 28,267 Taglit-Birthright Israel’s participants and supporters who contributed by sharing their fingerprints to create the artwork ‘Taglit´s Mark´, resembling the flag of Israel. The artwork was designed by Javier Gelbwaser (Israel) and displayed in Tel-Aviv, Israel, in 2009. The 28,267 contributors came form 24 different countries.

The most backing singers to one vocalist was 6,031 and was achieved by Young Voices (UK) accompanying Connie Talbot (UK) at The O2 Arena, London, UK, on 6 March 2012. Connie Talbot performed her own version of Run (originally by Snow Patrol) with a 7 piece band led by conductor David Lawrence. The running time of the performance was 5 minutes 6 seconds. The Young Voices backing singers performed basic dance moves as part of their performance to an audience of 8,929 people.

The most backflips on a bicycle in a single leap was 3 performed by Jed Mildon (New Zealand) at the Unit T3 Mindtricks BMX Jam at Spa Park in Taupo, New Zealand, on 28 May 2011. Mildon rode his BMX bike down a ramp that stood at a 45-degree angle and a height of 20 m (65 ft 7 in) to gain momentum before pulling off his triple backflip.
