The largest Madison dance involved 929 participants and was achieved by Loy9 (Cambodia) in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, on 28 April 2012. Loy9 is a multimedia youth initiative (BBC Media Action), encouraging young people to contribute to society and become involved in local and national decision making.

Laziest freshwater turtle

Native to the Mekong River in Cambodia, Cantor’s giant soft-shelled turtle (Pelochelys cantorii) spends 95% of its life motionless in sand on the river bottom waiting for prey to approach. It comes up to the water surface to breathe air only twice each day.

King Norodom Sihanouk of Cambodia was king fom 1941 to 1955, prime minister from 1955 to 1966, head of state and regent from 1960 to 1970, head of the government-in-exile in 1970, president in 1976, president-in-exile from 1982 to 1988, head of the government-in-exile from 1989 to 1991, president of the National Council in 1991 and head of state from 1991 to 1993. In 1993 he was restored as king.
