The largest glow in the dark painting measures 104.18 m² (1,121 ft² 55 in²) and was achieved by SZITIC COMMERCIAL PROPERTY CO.LTD (China) in Shenzhen, China, on 29 March 2012. The painting measures 21.09 m (69 ft 2 in) in length and 4.94 m (16 ft 2 in) in width and it consists of 20 canvases attached to each other. 66 kg of paint (water based fluorescent solvent) was used for the painting. The most dominoes toppled by an individual is 321,197 and was achieved by Liu Yang (China) at Citic Guoan Grand Epoch City in Beijing, China, on 31 December 2011. Liu Yang set up the 321,200 dominoes from 23 November to 31 December 2011. The attempt was part of the New Year’s Eve celebrations aired by Beijing TV station on 31 December 2011.

Highest bridge deck

The deck of the suspension bridge over the Si Du River in Badong County, Hubei, China, is situated 496 m (1,627 ft) above the valley – more than high enough to accommodate the Empire State Building beneath it. The bridge was opened to traffic on 15 November 2009. When the bridge was being constructed, the first suspension cable to be secured was fired across the 500-m-wide (1,600-ft) valley, rather than flown across by helicopter making it the first suspension-bridge cable placed using a rocket.

Highest railway line

The Qinghai-Tibet railway in China, completed in October 2005, is the world’s highest railway. Most of the 1,956-km-long line lies at 4,000 m (13,123 ft) above sea level, with the highest point reaching an altitude of 5,072 m (16,640 ft). Service is due to open to the public in 2007. Passenger carriages will be pressurised like aircraft cabins and oxygen masks will be available.
