Sami Heinonen and Juha Räsänen (Sweden) continuously lifted a boat and ten crew with a combined weight of 653.2 kg (1,440 lb) 10 cm (4 in) off the ground a total of 24 times on 9 October 2000 on the set of Guinness World Records, at Studio Werne, Helsinki, Finland. The boat, a Buster XS, weighed 151kg (332lbs). Most log slices sawn in three minutes by by chain saw

Vesa Kurki (Finland) chain sawed 15 slices each 5 cm (1.9 in) from a log with a in three minutes on the set of Guinness World Records, at Studio Werne, Helsinki, Finland on 8 October 2000. The log measured 35cm (13.7in) in diameter and each slice sawn had to measure 5cm (1.9 in), with a maximum overlap of 5 mm (0.19in) either side.

The most siblings to compete in the same sports competition is six brothers in a motor sports competition and this was achieved by Arto Hintsala, Matti Hintsala, Ari Hintsala, Jyrki Hintsala, Markus Hintsala and Pasi Hintsala at Vehkamaan Moottoriurheilurata, in Liminka, Finland, on 14 August 2010. Oldest diving suit

‘The Old Gentleman of Raahe’, at the Museum of Raahe, Raahe, Finland, is believed to be the oldest surviving diving suit in the world. Dating from sometime in the eighteenth century, it was donated to the museum by Captain Johan Leufstadius (1795-1867), a Finnish shipowner and mariner. A replica of the suit, made from stitched calfskin, was successfully tested in 1988.

Relays, Team of 20, 24hr (Swimming)

A relay team of 20 Finnish men swam a record 114.95 miles (184.994 km) in 24 hours at the Mäkelänrinteen Swimming Center, Helsinki, Finland on 16-17 September 2005 The twenty swimmers names were: Markus Koskinen, Jarno Pihlava, Juha Lindfors, Janne Kalliala, Alpo Lahtinen, Jani Puhakka, John Lindholm, Mikko Sinisalo, Matti Mäki, Mika Varis, Sampo Sissala, Simo Selin, Jesse Hottinen, Sami Ukkonen, Tatu Huovilainen, Miikka Karhu, Jussi Svartström, Matti Rajakylä, Hans Wahlman and Reijo Hyvenen

While wakeboarding Harri, Heikki and Matias Saarni, Juha Halme and Tom Hannelius (all Finland) transferred themselves in numerical order one at a time from ropes being pulled by different crafts onto a single rope being pulled by one boat in a time of 1 min 48 sec at Naantali, Finland, on 11 August 2001.
