The record for the longest time to restrain two cars is 17.36 seconds and was achieved by Tomi Lotta (Finland) on the set of “La Nuit Des Records”, Paris, France, on 10 October 2006. 2 Cars (Fiat Punto) 860 kg each – 1 driver 80 kg and the other driver 60 kg – length of stand 373 cm – height of stand 82 cm – hypotenuse 397 cm. Rob Molloy adjudicated the record attempt.

The virgin air flare is like a standard air flare except the legs are closed instead of in a v shape. It is sometimes referred to as a Thomas flair – the name used for a similar move in gymnastics.
