Longest satay

The longest satay measured 140.02 m (459 ft 4 in) and was made by Kopitiam Group of Companies (Singapore) at Lau Pa Sat, Singapore, on 21 July 2007. The satay consisted of 150 kg of chicken which was marinated with cumin, coriander, fennel, ginger, turmeric, lemongrass, onion, sugar and salt. The satay was grilled over charcoal fire by 150 staff.

The most golf balls hit simultaneously was 1,453 around 13 different courses during an event organised to celebrate the National University of Singapore’s 100th anniversary in Singapore on 19 February 2006 1,710 golfers attemped the challenge, with 257 failing to reach 100yds or keep the shot between the 60 degree marked area. The most games of scrabble played simultaneously was 521 by 1,042 participants from 65 secondary schools and organisations, at an event arranged by Northland Secondary School, Mattel SouthEast Asia Pte Ltd and Schools Scrabble Club in Singapore on 14 March 2006. The event took place at Northland Secondary School, Singapore.

The most vinyl records smashed in 30 seconds by a team is 38 was achieved by EMC Corporation (United States) and the YiDojang Martial Arts team consisting of Stephen Pang, Chan Kok Pheng, Quek Boon Hock, Ang Soon Chuah, and Tan Yong Chen (all Singapore), at the EMC Briefing Center, Singapore, on 14 January 2011.

Smallest optical mouse

The smallest optical mouse is th Z-Nano Mouse manufactured by CyberInc Pte Ltd (Singapore). It measures 42.5 mm (1.67 in) long, 20.5 mm (0.81 in) wide and 17.6 mm (0.69 in) thick and has all functionalities of a regular mouse. It was presented and measured in Singapore, on 10 January 2008.
