The most continuous upright spins on ice skates on one foot is 115 by Lucinda Ruh (Switzerland) at Chelsea Piers Sky Rink, New York, USA on 3 April 2003. Since accurate sales records were introduced in the US in 1991, both Reba McEntire and Carrie Underwood (both USA) have amassed 10 chart-toppers.

Jim Rogers and Paige Parker (both USA) visited 111 countries and three territories by car between 1 January 1999 and 5 January 2002. They covered more than 245,000 km (152,000 miles) across six continents in their custom-built Mercedes off-road vehicle and trailer.  Three territories are: Western Sahara, French Polynesia and Gibraltar. 

The most cucumbers snapped in one minute is 118 and was achieved by Ashrita Furman (USA) at the Smile of the Beyond Luncheonette in New York, New York, USA, on 24 March 2011. Ashrita snapped 119 cucumbers during the minute but one was disqualified due to not being evenly broken in half.

The most cucumbers harvested from a single plant in one year weighed 943 kg (2,078 lbs). The cucumber plant is at the Epcot Science project at Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, USA. The harvest started on 24 March 2006 and ended on 5 July 2006. 2,563 cucumbers were harvested in total.

The most pudding eaten in three minutes is 1.34 kg (2 lb 15 oz) and was achieved by Donald Cunningham (USA) at Elizabeth Circle Park in Eustis, Florida, USA, on 10 May 2010. Sugar-free Jell-O chocolate pudding was used for the attempt.

Scott Fraze managed to rip 13 decks of cards (52 plus two jokers) in 30 sec on the set of Guinness World Records: Primetime on 21 December 2000.

The most darts to be thrown within the inner and outer bull’s-eyes in one minute is 10 and was achieved by Michael Turner (UK) in Oldham, Lancashire, UK, on 16 February 2013. The record was also equalled by Kevin Moncrief (USA) who also achieved 10, at Buckeye Charity Poker in Willoughby Hills, Ohio, USA, on 23 February 2013.

A member of the spurge family, the world´s most dangerous tree is the manchineel (Hippomane mancinella) of the Florida Everglades and the Caribbean coast. The sap that its trunk exudes is so poisonous and acidic that the merest contact with human skin causes a breakout of blisters, and blindness can occur if it touches a person´s eyes.
