Since 11 March 1965, Gary Duschl of Virginia, USA, has been making a gum wrapper chain which measures 22,621 m (76,216 ft) long and consists of 1,762,233 gum wrappers, 3,524,466 links and weighs 470.38 kg (1,037 lb), as of 12 March 2013. The value of the gum of which the wrappers have been used in the chain is approximately $123,356 (£81,458.60).

There are two male drivers who were issued with new driving licenses at age 104: Fred Hale Sr (USA) (b. 1 December 1890 d.19 November 2004) was issued with a driving license in February 1995 at age 104, and drove until it expired on his 108th birthday in 1998. The flavours ranged from vanilla to mango habanero to cinnamon cider bourbon, and were displayed together for 5 minutes.

Nadya Suleman (USA) claimed headlines across the world on 26 January 2009 when she gave birth to six boys and two girls at the Kaiser Permanente Medical Center, Bellflower, California, USA. The most expensive letter sold at auction was sold for US$6,098,500 (£3,964,025; 4,634,860€) on 10 April 2013 by Christie’s, New York, USA, for a letter written by Francis Crick in 1953 to his son Michael Crick, outlining the revolutionary discovery of the structure and function of DNA. In the seven-page handwritten letter ‘Secret Of Life to his 12-year-old son, Francis Crick describes his discovery of the structure of DNA as something “beautiful”. The largest collection of Charlie’s Angels memorabilia belongs to Jack Condon (USA), with 5,569 items, which he has been collecting since 1976. Jack’s interest with the series began after he first saw the pilot for the series on 21 Mar 1976. The first episode of the series aired 22 Sep 1976. One week after that, Jack obtained the first piece of his collection – three original “Angels,” Kate, Farrah and Jaclyn Smith, graced the cover of the “T.V.Guide.”
