The heaviest sumo deadlift in one hour was 54,464 kg (120,072 lb) by Nick Molloy (UK) at Esporta Health Club in Hemel Hempstead, UK, on 21 March 2011. Molloy completed 851 acceptable repetitions of a 64 kg barbell with weight plates and clips. He was witnessed by Dan Little (UK), Exercise & Lifestyle Manager of Esporta; Grant Smith (UK), a REPS Level 3 certified personal trainer, and Roger Davis (UK), a seven-time world champion across various disciplines in the International All-Round Weightlifting Association.
