Saimaiti Yiming (China) completed a distance of 79.6 km (49.4 miles) in 24 hours walking on stilts around Shanshan County, Xinjiang, China from 30 September–1 October 2003. His stilts measured 73 cm (28.7 in) from the ground to his ankle and weighed 10 kg (22 lb).
The farthest drive by an online controlled vehicle in 24 hours was 146.45 km (91 miles), and was achieved by Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. (USA) in Long Beach, California, USA, on 8-9 November 2010. The car used for the attempt was a 2010 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport, and individuals in the United States were able to log onto the vehicle’s website and participate in the virtual test drive. The farthest distance waterskied blindfolded in one hour was 23.85 mi (38.38 km) by Steven Thiele (UK) in Anglesey, UK, on 9 April 2011. Thiele, who is also legally blind, waterskied a route beginning at the Menai Suspension Bridge and heading toward Puffin Island before returning back to the starting point. Thiele, blind since age 8, represented Great Britain multiple times as a youth at the World Disabled Water Ski Championships, winning six gold medals.

The farthest wall climbing Dyno move is 2.85 m (9.35 ft) and was achieved by Skyler Weekes (USA) at the Cliffhanger Festival held in Millhouses Park, in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, UK, on 3 July 2010. Skyler broke the record during an active competition. A ‘Dyno’ is when climbers launch themselves from one set of handholds to a higher set of handholds with no intermediate holds in between.
The farthest distance achieved by a woman in Dyno climbing is 1.98 m (6 ft 5 in) by Anne-Laure Chevrier (France) on the set of Lo Show Dei Record, in Milan, Italy, on 17 April 2009. The guidelines were followed.
