Highest jump by an insect

The highest recorded jump by an insect is 70 cm (28 in) by the froghopper (Philaenus spumarius). When it jumps, the insect accelerates at 4,000 m (13,000 ft) per second and overcomes a G-force of more than 414 times its own body weight. The research was conducted by Professor Malcolm Burrows, Head of the Zoology Department of the University of Cambridge in 2003. Highest jump by a rabbit

The world record for the highest rabbit jump is 99.5 cm (39.2 in) and was achieved by Mimrelunds Tösen (The Lassie of Quivering Grove) who was owned by Tine Hygom (Denmark) in Herning, Denmark on 28 June 1997. The rabbit was black and white and was a member of Aase Bjerner’s rabbit club in Horsens, Denmark. Highest jump by a pygmy miniature horse

The highest jump by a miniature pygmy horse is 24 in (61 cm) by ‘Lovebug’ owned by Krystal Cole (USA) on the set of Animal Planet’s Guinness World Records: Amazing Animals on 24 September 2005 in Los Angeles, California, USA. Lovebug measured 30 in (76 cm) tall to the withers and was aged six at the time.

Highest jump on a motorcycle

Tommy Clowers of Ramona, California, USA, achieved a motorcycle jump height of 7.62 m (25 ft) from the top of a 3.04 m (10 ft) ramp after a run up of  12.19 m (40 ft) at Van Nuys Airport, California for Guinness World Records: Primetime on 21 January 2001.

Highest jump on a hydrofoil

The record for the highest jump performed on a Hydrofoil is 23 ft (7.01 m) and was set by Billy Rossini (USA) at Lake Norman, North Carolina, USA on 1 August 2004. The jump was measured by a surveyor using triangulation. This method is accurate to within 2 inches.

Highest jump through a hoop

The highest jump through a hoop was 3.12 metres (10 ft 2 in) and was achieved by Qiu Jiangning (China) of the China National Acrobatic Troupe on the set of Zheng Da Zong Yi – Guinness World Records Special in Beijing, China, on 17 June 2009. In this case, the hoop sat on 3 other hoops underneath it.
