The highest score for Virtua Tennis is held by Jan-Erik Spangberg (Sweden) who clocked up a total of 44,000 on his way to achieving the highest score in the Exhibition (Los Angeles) singles mode of the Sega Dreamcast version of Virtua Tennis. Spangberg set the record on 14 February 2001 with the game set to “Very Hard” difficulty.

This NFL Europe championship game marked the final contest in the league’s history, and was the Galaxy’s 8th appearance in the World Bowl, extending their record.
