The largest “YMCA” dance was achieved by 40,148 participants in an event organised by Sun Bowl Association in Texas, USA, on 31 December 2008. Ticketing system was used for the counting. The dance lasted 5 min 34 sec and was sung live for the attempt.

Largest abalone pearl

A 718.50 carat baroque abalone pearl measuring 14 x 8 x 4 cm (5.51 x 3.14 x 1.57 in) was found by Dat Vi Truong (USA) in Mendocino, California, USA, on 31 May 2010. Mr Truong found the pearl when he was on holiday with his wife in Mendocino, California. The largest abacus measured 6.79 m x 3.2 m (22.3 ft x 10.5 ft) and contained 83 beads. It was made by Ajit Singh (India) and unveiled in Bhopal, India, on 24 September 2011 The abacus weighs 119 kg (262.35 lbs)

The largest single acrylic panel is a window on the Whale Shark Exhibit tank at Hengqin Ocean Kingdom, measuring 39.6 m (129 ft 11.05 in) by 8.3 m (27 ft 2.77 in) and located in Hengqin, Guangdong, China. The Ocean Kingdom, owned by Zhuhai Chimelong Investment and Development Co. Ltd (China), will be officially inaugurated on 28 January 2014.

The largest advertisement on a building was for the Financial Times newspaper covering an area of 19,125.48 m² (205,865.02 ft²) and was on display on the north and east side of 2 International Finance Centre in Hong Kong, China from 22 October – 10 November 2003. The ad covered approximately 50 floors of the building which is Hong Kong’s tallest and the third tallest building in the world. Largest aerobics demonstration / class (multi location)

On 27 September 2003 in Kazakhstan a total of 4,845,098 people across the country took part in the largest ever simultaneous aerobics display in an attempt, supported by Kazakhstan’s Presidential administration, to promote a healthy lifestyle. The participants amounted to approximately 30% of the total population. All participants followed the same routine, the music for which was broadcast by Kazakh radio across the country.
