The fastest 100 km run barefoot is 8 hr 49 min 42 sec and was achieved by Peter Wayne Botha (New Zealand) at the 16th Annual Sri Chinmoy 24 Hour race in Auckland, New Zealand, on 5 October 2013. Botha took back the record he set at the previous year’s Sri Chinmoy 24 hour race. The attempt was made in order to raise money for the SPCA (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals).
The fastest 100 meters egg and spoon race is 19.39 seconds, set by Ashrita Furman, (USA) at St John’s University track in Queens, New York, USA, on 24 February 2011. A dessert spoon was used for the attempt which held 10 ml exactly of water.

The fastest 100 m light aircraft pull was 29.84 seconds and was achieved by Montystar Agarawal (India) on the set of Guinness World Records – Ab India Todega in Baramati, Maharashtra, India, on 23 February 2011. The record was achieved in a face-off between two contestants- Montystar Agarawal and Mahendra Joshi, both Indian “strongmen” (strength athletes). The fastest 100 m on a skateboard by a dog is 19.65 seconds and was achieved by Jumpy the dog (USA) on the set of ‘Officially Amazing’ in Los Angeles, California, USA, on 16 September 2013. The record was previously held by Tillman the English Bulldog, who covered a 100-m stretch of level car park in a time of 19.678 seconds during X Games XV in Los Angeles, California, USA, on 30 July 2009. Paddy Doyle (UK) defeated 100 consecutive opponents in full contact knockdown fighting in 3 hr 6 min. He won 59 fights by Ippon (full points), won 29 by decision, drew 12 and did not lose any fights. The attempt was held at the Staminas Boxing Self Defence Club in Erdington, Birmingham, UK, on 9 June 2002.
