The largest collection of beer bottles belongs to Ron Werner (USA) and consists of 25,866 individual beer bottles as of 27 January 2012 in Carnation, Washington, USA. Ron Werner started his collection at the age of 14. On average, a 1,000 beer bottles are added to the collection every year. Ron also collects other beer memorabilia, such as beer signs, cans, mirrors and tap handles.
The largest collection of Beatles memorabilia belongs to Rodolfo Renato Vazquez (Argentina) with 7,700 different items as of August 2011. Rodolfo became a fan of the Beatles at the age of 10 when he got their ‘Rubber Soul’ record. Many items of his collection are on display in the Beatle Museum that opened in January 2011 in Buenos Aires. The largest collection of bar towels belongs to Robert Begley of Chambersburg, United States, with 2,372 towels representing 27 different countries; which he has been collecting since 1990. Robert has been collecting bar towels since the age of 7 when his grandmother got him interested in collecting wheat pennies. Since then, Robert has been collecting everything from coins, Boy Scout patches, nutcrackers, bar tap handles, beer bottles, pub signs and of course bar towels which range from Abbot Ale to Zyweic.
Carmen de Aldana (Guatemala) has 21,321 different cat-related items, as of 14 March 2011, which she has been collecting since 1954. Carmen started her collection after the purchase of three little ceramic kittens in 1954 when she was 13 years old. Only one of them still exists. She now has a private museum of cat items at her family house in Puerto Barrios, Izabal. Among 23,007 of her collection, 21,321 are counted as no duplicates. The largest collection of candles belongs to Lam Chung Foon (Hong Kong) and consists of 6,360 different candles as of 23 December 2011 in Shatin, Hong Kong. Lam Chung Foon started his collection in 1980 and the collection is currently housed in four large temperature regulated showrooms. His familly have run a large candle manufacturing business since 1968.

Yakov L Kofman (USA) has amassed a collection of 16,552 different calendars since 1945, as of 26 October 2008. All of his collection are wallet calendars. Most of them was acquired in former Soviet Union where Mr Kofman is originally from.
