The fastest 20 metre bum walk is 1 min 4.05 sec and was achieved by Harriet Pickrell (UK) at an event organised by James Hay Partnership (UK), in Salisbury, UK, on 19 July 2013. This was one of three Guinness World Records title broken on the day by employees of James Hay Partnership in an event held at Salisbury and South Wilts Sports Club.
The fastest 20 cone slalom in inline skates is 5.04 seconds and was achieved by Guo Fang (China) on the set of Zheng Da Zong Yi – Guinness World Records Special in Beijing, China, on 14 November 2008.
Paul Randles (United Kingdom) completed a 20 cone backwards slalom on inline skates in 5.62 secs on the set of ‘Guinness World Records’, in Madrid, Spain, on 23 January 2009. Victor Bermudez (Spain) also attempted record as part of a challenge and managed 6.56 seconds.
The fastest 20 m wife carrying backwards is 9.82 seconds and was achieved by Manav Gohil and Shweta Kawaatra (both India) on the set of Guinness World Records – Ab India Todega in Jogeshwari, Mumbai on 18 March 2011. Manav Gohil and Shweta Kawaatra are both starring in a daily soap.
The fastest time to pull a vehicle over a 20 metre course with meathooks in the back is 44 seconds and was achieved by Hannibal Helmurto (Germany) on the set of Lo Show dei Record in Rome, Italy, on 1 April 2010. The record was part of the Italian TV series “Lo Show dei Record”.
The fastest 360° flip of a car by a team is 5.25 seconds and was achieved by Jervis Manupenu, Jonny Mirza and Pete Hill (all UK) on the set of Guinness World Records Smashed at Pinewood Studios, UK, on 15 April 2009. All three are members of the Bracknell rugby team. They competed agains three wrestlers.
The fastest 300 km by speed boat is 1 hour 55 minutes and 14 seconds and was achieved by Sheikh Hassan bin Jabor al-Thani and Abdullah al-Sulaiti (both Qatar) at an event organised by Qatar Marine Sports Federation in Doha, Qatar, on 10 February 2010. The route, pre-approved by Guinness World Records, was from Abu Dhabi to Doha, Qatar. The boat used was a twin gas turbine engine Nor-Tech speed boat named Qatar Challenger. The engines on the boat are also used on Cobra helicopters.
Christa Rypins (USA) ran 400 m while juggling three objects in a time of 1 min 16 sec at the International Juggling Association’s Joggling Championships, Los Angeles, California, USA, held in July 1990.
The fastest 400m while juggling five objects was achieved in 1 min 10.50 sec by Matthew Feldman (USA) at Polo Park Junior High School in Wellington, Florida, on 9 August 2011. Feldman has attempted several Guinness World Records for running and juggling (or ‘joggling’) and claims that he combined his two passions together into one to save time!
The fastest time to run a 4 x 100 metres relay is 1 min 4.19 sec and was achieved by The Pinkettes Brittney McGlone, Jessica Penney, Laura Juliff and Casey Case (all Australia) at the Venus Embrace Closest Stiletto Relay event held in Sydney, NSW, Australia, on 28 September 2010. A custom-made 7cm high and 1.5cm wide device was used to measure the heels of each participant. Only heels that were taller and thinner than this were approved for the event. The course was measured
