The largest department store is the Shinsegae Centumcity Department Store which covers an area of 293,905 m² (3.16 million ft² ) and was built by Shinsegae Co. Ltd in Busan, South Korea, on 26 June 2009. The Shinsegae structure contains floor upon floor of designer names representing everything from fashion to books and from kitchenware to toys. It also contains a beautiful spa, a relaxing roof garden and an impressive 60 tee golf driving range.
The world’s largest dental caps measure approximately 50 cm (19 in) long, 13 cm (5 in) in diameter and weigh 13 kg (28 lb) each. They were fixed onto a pair of cracked tusks belonging to Spike, a resident Asian elephant, at the Calgary Zoo, Alberta, Canada during a 3 hour 30 min operation on 4 July 2002. The stainless steel caps were designed and manufactured by the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology with metal donated by Corus Steel and adhesive by 3M (all Canada).

The largest dirndl dress measures 4.9 m (16 ft) in length and 3.8 m (12.4 ft) in width. With a waist measurement of 2.7 m (8.8 ft) long and a hip measurement of 3.8 m (12.4 ft), it is also known as a ‘Blaudruckdirndl’ and was presented and measured by GDL-Handels- und Dienstleistungs GmbH in Bad Ischl, Austria, on 17 July 2010. The world’s largest museum devoted to dinosaurs and other prehistoric fauna is the Shandong Tianyu Museum of Nature, situated in Linyi, Pingyi County, Shandong Province, China. It contains 28,000 square metres (301,389 sq. ft) of exhibition space, housing 1,106 dinosaur speciments and thousands of other ancient fossils. Dinosaur speciments include 368 psittacosaurid, 391 dromaeosaurid, 255 Anchiornis, 22 Jeholosaurus and 70 other unnamed speciments. The museum also contains a research center, 4D cinema and 28 exhibition halls.
From its two geosynchronous satellites, WorldSpace broadcasts digital radio channels to Africa, Asia and Europe with a total surface area (footprint) of 80 million km² (30.8 million miles²). Its first satellite, Afristar, began broadcasting in October 1999 and then Asiastar began after its launch in March 2000. Its third satellite, Ameristar, is due for launch in the near future.

The largest dice cup is made from leather and measures 91.5 cm (3 ft) tall with a diameter of 75 cm (2 ft 5 in) at the top and 58 cm (1 ft 10 in) at the bottom of the cup. It was created by 50 saddlers of the Jungmeisterkreis Sattler (all Germany) in Gersthofen, Germany, on 21 January 2011. The walls of the cup were 3.5 cm (1 in) thick.
The first direct evidence that white dwarf interiors crystallise into huge diamonds was announced in February 2004. Observations of pulsations of BPM 37093 allowed astronomers from the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA, to deduce that the carbon white dwarf had crystallised into a diamond some 4,000 km (2,500 miles) across. The largest diabolo measured 1.3 m (4 ft 3 in) in diameter and was manufactured by Wang Yueqiu (China) and displayed on the set of Zheng Da Zong Yi – Guinness World Records Special in Beijing, China, on 20 September 2007. Wang Yueqiu spun the diabolo on the show to demonstrate its working order.
