The largest display of dolls consists of 69,671 dolls and was achieved by M/S. Parle Products Private Limited (India) at the event “Parle Golu Galata 2011” in Chennai, India, on 5 October 2011. The festival of Golu (Festival of dolls) takes places every year in September/ October. M/S. Parle Products (India) is a company which helps people to come to their tradition. The largest display of crochet sculptures consisted of 260 crocheted flowers and was achieved by Östhammars kommun (Sweden), in Östhammar, Sweden, on 6 June 2013. The crocheted flowers were displayed until 7 August 2013 in a park in Östhammar.
The largest display of chalk pavement art consisted of 171 drawings by various artists which were displayed at the Pasadena Chalk Festival in Pasadena, USA, on 19 and 20 June 2010. Of the total of 175 drawings 4 had to be disqualified because they did not adhere to the guidelines.
The largest mirrored disco ball measures 9.98 m (32 ft 9 in) in diameter, and was made by BSG Luxury Group for Bacardi Russia. The ball was displayed at the ‘Casa Bacardi, Larger Than Life’ party in Moscow, Russia, on 26 April 2012.
The largest display of hanging baskets consists of 2,426 arrangements, and was achieved by Akar Landscaping Services & Agriculture (UAE) in the Zakher area in Al Ain, UAE, on 20 March 2010. To achieve the impressive display called ‘Al Ain Paradise’, around 1,000,000 flowers were planted as a celebration of spring season start in Al Ain City.
The largest display of handmade dolls is 3,000 and was achieved by Yoshihito Suzumura, staff at his workshop Chikyu-Ya and volunteers from the local area (all Japan). The dolls were tied through strings and displayed in Chikyu-Ya, Sintou-mura, Gunma, Japan, on 26 December 2008.
