The largest game of pick up sticks is 9.10 m (29 ft 10.3 in) long and 14.5 cm (5.7 in) in diameter and was played by the pupils of St. Johns Preparatory School in Harare, Zimbabwe, on 21 July 2007. The game consisted of 30 plastic sticks (7 yellow, 7 red, 7 blue, 8 green and 1 black). A full game was played by four teams of 112 children each.

Largest gathering of ABBA impersonators

The largest gathering of ABBA impersonators is 368 individuals, or 92 bands, and took place at Kew Primary School in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, on 17 November in celebration of Guinness World Records Day 2011. Ten witnesses and one official GWR adjudicator oversaw the counting of the participants, which were all students, teachers and parents. The original count was 384 but 16 participants were identified as not having sung the whole way through the song “Waterloo”, and were therefore discounted from the total.

The largest garden spade is 12.4 m (40 ft 8.2 in) tall and 2.23 m (7 ft 3.8 in) wide at its blade, and was achieved by Garden-Ville (USA) as measured at their premises in Creedmoor, Texas, USA, on 17 July 2014.

The largest garden gnome measures 7.91 m (25 ft 11 in) tall and was created by Ron Hale (Canada). It was built in 1998, but was measured for the record on 19 August 2009. The gnome was part of an amusement park that no longer exists. It is currently standing on the grounds of a petrol station. The largest gathering of cupids consisted of 199 participants and was organised by Coordinadora de Penas de Valladolid (Spain) on the set of ‘Guinness World Records’, in Madrid, Spain, on 23 January 2009. The final count would have been 201 but Carmen Alcayde and Luis Munoz (both Spain), the show’s presenters, were disqualified for not wearing a wig.
