The largest gong measures 5.15 m (16.8 ft) in diameter. It was made by Shanxi Baodi Real Estate Development CO. Ltd and displayed at the Third China Taiyuan International Cooked Wheaten Food Festival, Shanxi Province, China on 8 September 2005. the gong was made of copper and weighed 568 kg (1252 lb).
The largest golf range in the world is the SKY72 Golf Club Dream Golf Range with 300 individual bays, which opened in Joong-Ku, Incheon, Korea on 9 September 2005 The driving range is 269,468 sq metres in total. It is a circle with a diameter of 358.8m (392 yds). It has a total of 300 bays, the ‘fairway is Kentucky grass and there is a putting green and academy attached to it.

The largest ground-based digital lunar mosaic consists of 288 individual images stitched together to make an image of the face of the Moon 87.4 megapixels in size. The data was captured on 4 April 2009 by Nick Howes, Damian Peach, Bruce Kingsley, Dave Tyler, Trevor Little, Nick Smith, Pete Lawrence, Mark Irving, Leanne Irving, David Mason and Ninian Boyle (all UK). Posters were made of the image with all donations going to the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
The largest grey seal colony is on Sable Island off Nova Scotia, Canada. 100,000 grey seals (Halichoerus grypus) arrive at the island every winter to breed. After 18 days the resulting pups are then left to fend for themselves. The grey seal’s name Halichoerus grypus comes from the Greek meaning ‘hook-nosed sea pig’.

The largest grab dredger bucket weighs 477 tons (1,051,604.99 lbs) and was manufactured by Mitsubishi Nagasaki Machinery MFG. CO. LTD. (Japan). It was presented and measured in Nagasaki, Japan, on 16 March 2011. The dredger is 10.057 m (32 ft 11 in) tall, 12.731 m (41 ft 9 in) wide and 5.526 m (18 ft 1 in) deep.
