Largest internal organ

The largest organ in the human body, the adult liver can weigh between 1.2 – 1.5 kg (2.64 – 3.3 lb) – about one thirty-sixth of the total body weight. Located behind the lower ribs and below the diaphragm, it performs over 100 separate bodily functions and can measure up to 22 cm (8.6 in) long and 10 cm (3.9 in) wide. The liver is also the largest gland in the body.

Largest insect aquatic

The largest aquatic insect is the giant water bug (Lethocerus maximus), a carnivorous species that inhabits Venezuela and Brazil. It has been measured up to 11.5 cm (4.53 in) long, but as it is relatively long and narrow it is not as heavy as some of this continent’s burly terrestrial beetles and stick insects.

Largest ISS module

Kibo, the Japanese pressurised module, measures 11.19 m long with a diameter of 4.39 m, and has a mass of 14,800 kg. It was developed by the Japanese space agency JAXA and launched on 31 May 2008 onboard the space shuttle Discovery. As well as 23 racks for science experiments, internal systems and storage, Kibo has two windows and an airlock.

Largest kickboxing class

The largest kickboxing class involved 7,630 participants at an event organised by the Instituto Distrito de Recreation y Deporte (Colombia) at Simon Bolivar Metropolitan Park in Bogota, Colombia, on 15 August 2011. The class lasted 16 minutes.

Largest kibbeh

The largest Kibbeh weighs 233 kg (514 lb) and was made by Almidan NGO (Lebanon), during 3’res el Kebbeh within Ehdeniyat festival, at Al-Kobra in Ehden, Lebanon, on 29 August 2009. The giant kibbeh prepared in a festive atmosphere by 25 women. To create the giant circular 20-square-metre (215-square-foot) kebbe they had to mix 120 kilos of mince, 80 litres of olive oil, 80 kilos of cracked wheat, five kilos of salt and a mere kilo of pepper.
