The largest litter of puppies is 24, all of whom were born on 29 November 2004 to Tia, a Neopolitan mastiff, owned by Damian Ward (UK) and Anne Kellegher (Ireland) of Manea, Cambridgeshire, UK. They were born by Caesarian section, one was still born, three died in the first week. There were nine females, 15 males in total. Tia’s full name is Abellatino Arabella. The father is called Caesar.

The largest Madison dance involved 929 participants and was achieved by Loy9 (Cambodia) in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, on 28 April 2012. Loy9 is a multimedia youth initiative (BBC Media Action), encouraging young people to contribute to society and become involved in local and national decision making.
The largest Macarena dance involved 2,219 participants and was achieved by Eggbuckland Community College (UK) in Plymouth, UK, on 7 July 2011. A total of 186 dancers from seven local schools, performed a traditional Yorkshire Longsword dance in groups of six to eventually produce their interlinked sword ‘locks’ at the end of the dance on 26 September 2003 at Halifax, West Yorkshire, UK.
The largest magic lesson involved 1,063 participants and was taught by Kevin McMahon (UK) at an event organised by Royal Blind (UK) at Fettes College, Edinburgh, UK, on 27 October 2012. The magic trick taught was a disappearing coin trick employing the ‘French Drop’ technique. The event was organised to raise sponsorship for Royal Blind, a charity providing services for blind and visually impaired people.
The largest magazine measures 190 cm x 270 cm (6 ft 2 in x 8 ft 10 in) and was achieved by Veronica Magazine (Netherlands). It was presented and measured in Hilversum, the Netherlands, on 31 October 2011. Veronica Magazine is a TV magazine associated with the Dutch Veronica TV channel. The record was set in celebration of the magazine’s 35th anniversary.
In a trial of Mafia suspects in Palermo, Sicily, Italy, beginning on 10 Feb 1986, a total of 474 people were formally charged, of whom 121 were charged in absentia owing to their flight. In terms of numbers this was the biggest Mafia trial, with 426 found guilty and 19 sentenced to detention in perpetuity.
