It can home in acoustically on the turbulence left in the wake of a ship more than 50 miles away and can close at more than 43.5 knots (50 mph) – far in excess of the speed of the fastest surface ships.

The largest trumpet ensemble involved 1,166 participants at a concert organised by Napoleón Gómez Silva in Oruro, Bolivia, on 19 February 2006. The trumpet ensemble was part of a much larger concert involving around 5,000 different instruments.
The largest truffle cake is 1,041 kg (2,295 lb) and was made by the Asociacion de pasteleros de Burgos to celebrate the centenary of CAJA CIRCULO in Plaza España, Burgos, Spain, on 19 March 2009. The cake was made by bakers from 6 bakeries in Burgos. It consisted of truffles, choclate, eggs and flour. The cake was then distributed to the thousands of people in Burgos who waited patiently for up to two hours for their piece of birthday cake.
