Last population of woolly mammoths
The Wrangel Island Reserve, located above the Arctic Circle, north of Siberia, was home to a dwarf variety of woolly mammoths which survived up until as late as 1700 BC. The extinction of this population could not have been due to humans as it is believed people first set foot on the island some 100 years after the last mammoths died out.
Last Indian warrior to surrender
Geronimo, although not a formal Chief, was a leader of the Chiricahua Apache and the last Indian warrior to surrender to American Army troops. His final surrender to Brigadier General Nelson A .Miles (he had previously been in captivity but escaped) took place on September 4, 1886 in Skeleton Canyon in the Peloncillo Mountains on the Arizona-New Mexico border south of Rodeo, New Mexico. Lightest birth
The lowest birth weight recorded for a surviving infant, of which there is definite evidence, is 260 g (9.17 oz) in the case of Rumaisa Rahman (USA) who was born at Loyola University Medical Center, Maywood, Illinois, USA, on 19 September 2004 at 25 weeks 6 days gestation. The second of twins born to Mahajabeen Shaik (India), her sister Hiba weighed 580 g (1 lb 4.4 oz) . Rumaisa measured 24.13 cm (9.5 in) long. She was discharged from hospital in Febraury 2005.
Lightest aeroplane to cross the South Atlantic
The lightest aeroplane to cross the South Atlantic is the RWD-5bis, powered by a de Havilland Gipsy Moth 120 km engine which set a then FAI world record for straight line distance in Category II (single seater aircraft with a maximum weight of 450 kg (992 lb)) of 3,582 km (2,225 miles) on 7 May 1933. Cecil Hepworth’s highly successful release of Rescued by Rover (UK 1904) cost £7 13s 9d (then $37.40). Made at Nettlefold Studios, Walton-on-Thames, Surrey, UK, it had a running time of seven minutes and starred Barbara Hepworth as The Baby and the director as The Father.
Least dense solid
The world’s least dense solid is an aerogel produced by Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, Livermore, California, USA. With a density of just 1mg/cm3 (0.25 grains/in3), this aerogel is lighter than air itself (1.2 mg/cm3, 0.3 grains/inch3) and is virtually invisible to the untrained eye. Aerogel with this density was first created on 10 April 2003. note, the ‘3’ after ‘cm’ and ‘in’ should be superscript – as in cubed.

The least darts to score 1,000,001 by a team of eight men was 35,698 by Mickey Mansell, Mickey Taggart, Felix McBrearty, Daryl Gurney, Campbell Jackson, Ronan McMahon, Eamonn McGovern and Thomas Stoga (all UK) at The Weigh Inn Bar in Omagh, UK, from 21 to 23 August 2010. The attempt lasted more than 46 hours. Not attached due to size, but included with claim were scoresheets for all darts thrown and video of entire attempt.
Least common language
The Yaghan language is an indigenous language of Tierra del Fuego. The Yaghan are estimated to have numbered between 3,000 and 10,000 before Argentina and Chile began exploring Tierra del Fuego in the late nineteenth century. Disease, relocation and exploitation caused their population to collapse rapidly, to around 70 people in 1930. Today Cristina Calderón (born approximately 1938), is the only remaining native Yaghan speaker.

This dismal performance qualifies Okami as the worst-performing winner of a Game of the Year accolade from a major gaming publication.
