The longest salami is 1,152 m 16 cm (3,780 ft 0.54 in) and was made by Cock’s Vleeswaren NV (Belgium) in Sint-Niklaas, Belgium, on 23 April 2010. The total salami weight after cooking and drying was 2,171.37 kg (4,787.05 lbs). The company used five 150 kg (330.69 lbs) containers of turkey and pork, and five 150 kg (330.69 lbs) containers of bacon to produce the record-breaking salami.

The longest time to continuously present a talk show programme on broadcast TV is 62 hr 12 min and was hosted by Rabi Lamichhane (Nepal) on News 24 TV in Kathmandu, Nepal, from 11 to 14 April 2013. Rabi Lamichhane talked to politicians, actors, singers, sports personalities, entrepreneurs and journalists during his marathon talk show on the theme “Buddha was born in Nepal”, and also took phone calls from viewers.
