The marathon pitted Chris’ Crusaders against Waghray’s Warriors, with the Crusaders winning 10 matches to the Warriors nine. Chris’ Crusaders scored a total of 6,382 runs, whilst Waghray’s Warriors managed 6,346 runs. The longest marathon playing cornhole was 24 hr 31 min 34 sec by the teams Arctic Zone and Doober (both USA) in Warrenville, Illinois, USA on 7-8 June 2011. The game was played by two teams consisting of two people each. The players were Samuel Schwarts, Miles Bocianski, Devon Curry and Zachary Noffsinger. Only 30 minutes of rest time was taken throughout the entire attempt.

The event helped raise $10,000 (£6,319) for “Kick-It,” an organization that uses kickball to raise funds for pediatric cancer victims.
