Featured in Guinness World Records Gamers Edition 2011 The game’s script ran to over 2,000 pages including stage directions and during development 70 actors and stuntmen were motion-captured in order to produce the game’s high-tech animation.

The longest serving president of a global sports organisation is José Sulaimán (Mexico), who has served as president of the World Boxing Council since 5 December 1975. Sulaiman joined the World Boxing Council in 1968 before being elected president seven years later. Longest serving political prisoner

On 1 May 2009, Nael Barghouthi, a Palestinian national sentenced to life imprisonment, became the longest serving political prisoner ever. He began his time in prison on April 4, 1978 and has now served more than thirty-two years in an Israeli jail. The previous record was held by Said Alatabah, also a Palestinian, who was incarcerated in Israel for 31 years and 26 days. He was released August 2008.

Longest single-handed distance sailed in a dinghy (female)

The longest single-handed unassisted journey in a dinghy by a female is 282.78 nm (523.7 km; 325.41 miles) and was achieved by Tania Elias Calles Wolf (Mexico) who sailed from Los Cabos Baja California Sur to Bahia de Banderas, Mexico, between 28 February and 3 March 2010. The longest commercially operated single-drop abseil is one of 204 m (670 ft) down the Maletsunyane waterfall at Semonkong Lodge, Semonkong, Lesotho. The abseil is operated on a daily basis, but because of the training required only four people generally make the drop every day.

Longest single penetration of a flooded tunnel using an ROV

In March 1999 the ROV ASI Mantaro surveyed the flooded Päijänne Tunnel in Finland in uninterrupted sections of 10 km (6.21 miles). This was accomplished using the ROV’s advanced umbillical cable which has a length of 10 km (6.21 miles) and a diameter of just 14 mm (0.55 in). The ROV used a combination of sonar and underwater video to pinpoint the location of a serious collapse in the tunnel, which was responsible for its flooding.

The longest single line of dancers consisted of 2,569 participants performing the “Hokey Pokey” dance and was achieved by Walkway Over The Hudson (USA) in Poughkeepsie, New York, USA, on 9 June 2012. The event was broadcast live on an AM radio station from the center of the bridge. The longest single line of bicycles consisted of 916 cyclists in an event organized by the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, Lodge 169 (USA) in Davis, California, USA, on 3 October 2010. 1,148 people were at the start, but due to the length of the route, only 916 cyclists were able to be in the line at one time.

Longest single country distance for an Olympic torch relay

The longest distance for an Olympic torch relay within one country was 45,000 km (27,961.65 mi) for the XXI Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The relay lasted from 30 October 2009 to 12 February 2010. Arriving in Victoria, British Columbia, from Greece, the torch was taken to over 1,000 Canadian communities, traveling as far north as the town of Alert — believed to be the northernmost permanently inhabited place on Earth.
