The most appearances in the cycling Tour of Portugal is 21 and was achieved by Joaquim Andrade (Portugal) who has competed in the Tour of Portugal every year from 13 August 1989 to 16 August 2009. Joaquim Andrade is a professional cyclist, he finished 39th out of 123 riders in the 2009 tour with his team LA-Paredes Rota dos Moveis one of 14 teams that took part. Incidentally he finished the Tour on the 16th of August which was also Joaquim’s 40th birthday!

The most “around the moon” football tricks in one minute was 61 by Adrian Fogel (Germany) at HSG Nordhorn athletics hall in Nordhorn, Germany, on 14 February 2010. Fogel is a professionall football freestyler and claims the around the moon is his favourite trick. One “around the moon” consists of the ball being placed on the back of the participant’s neck, then being flicked in the air while the participant’s head completes one full revolution around the ball. Claim was submitted with video evidence.
The most arm-linked people to stand up simultaneously is 45 and was achieved by Mahesh Navale Karate Group (India) on the set of Guinness World Records – Ab India Todega in Mumbai, India, on 26 March 2011. They took two attempts to break the record.
The most arm wrestling matches in 24 hours is 1,024, achieved by Ion Oncescu (Romania) at the Sun Plaza Shopping Center, Bucharest, Romania, on 12 February 2012. A €1,000 prize was offered to anyone that could beat Oncescu and the attempt attracted some serious competitive wrestlers but he won every match.
The most wins of the ArenaBowl is five by the Tampa Bay Storm (USA) 1991, 1993, 1995, 1996, and 2003. The ArenaBowl has been contested annually since 1987 and is the Championship game of the Arena Football League, a version of gridiron football played indoors.
The most wins of the FITA (Fédération Internationale de Tir à l’Arc) Archery World Cup in the Men’s Compound event is two, by Sergio Pagni (Italy) in 2009 and 2010.
The most apples cut in the air by sword in one minute is 28 and were cut by Tsurugi Genzou (Japan) in the set of FNS 27HR TV Waratte Iitomo! at Hizenyumekaido, in Ureshino, Saga, Japan, on 22 July 2012. The record attempt took place during Fuji TV’s 27 hour telemarathon “27 Jikan TV” FNS 27HR TV Waratte Iitomo!, at a ninja theme park location in Saga prefecture, in Japan. The sword had a 66 cm blade.
The most apples bobbed in 3 minutes (team of 6) is 361 and was achieved at an event organised by At Work/Talent Recruitment (UK) and New Heart for Heywood (NDC, UK), in Queens Park, Heywood, Lancashire, UK, on 25 September 2010. The team of 6 comprised of Stephen Bland, Jamie Thornton, Adam Simpson, Reddy Lenge, Rebecca Richardson and Reanne Fraser, all employees of At Work/Talent Recruitment.
