The most golf holes played in 12 hours by a pair using a cart is 261 and was achieved by Katsuya Takasu and Koji Ishida (both Japan) at Kyowa Country Club, Toyoda-shi, Aichi-ken, Japan, on 2 August 2011. Mr Takasu was 66 years old and Mr Ishida was 71 years old at the time of the record attempt. They used foursome rules (taking alternate shots). The final score after 14 and a half rounds was 1,352.
The most golf holes played by a fourball using golf carts in 24 hours is 243 and was achieved by Jennifer MacCurrach, Mike Sizemore, Bryan Benner and Aaron Chilek (all USA) at The Hills of Lakeway Live Oak Golf Course in Austin, Texas, USA, between 1-2 July 2013. The most golf birdies made in one week is 493, achieved by Geno Bonnalie (USA) at Lewiston Country Club in Lewiston, Idaho, USA, from 27 June to 3 July 2011. The most golf balls hit simultaneously was 1,453 around 13 different courses during an event organised to celebrate the National University of Singapore’s 100th anniversary in Singapore on 19 February 2006 1,710 golfers attemped the challenge, with 257 failing to reach 100yds or keep the shot between the 60 degree marked area. This record was equalled by Rohit Timilsina (Nepal) in Dharmasthali, Kathmandu, Nepal on 15 May 2010 and again by Zachery George (USA) in Elkins, West Virginia, USA, on 20 Mar 2011. Zachery attempted to break the record with 25 golf balls several times before finally succeeding with 24.
The most Winter X Games gold medals awarded to an individual is 10 held by Shaun White (USA) as of January 2010. White won his 10th gold medal at Winter X Games 14 in 2010. All of his gold medals came in snowboard SuperPipe and snowboard Slopestyle.
