The most people cooking simultaneously was 2,311 and was organized by Nodogoshi Nama, Kirin Brewery Company, Limited at the Minna de Takoyaki Dai-Party at Makuhari Messe, in Chiba, Japan, on 25 September 2011. Minna de Takoyaki Dai-Party was an event where other records were attempted. Four records were shown without any adjudication, another two were adjudicated and broken. The most people dancing with swords was an Ardha dance achieved by 410 participants from the state national day celebrations organizing committee and students from local schools, at the Aspire dome, in Doha, Qatar, on 19 December 2010. The record attempt was part of Qatar national day celebrations. Ardha is a folkloric dance in the Arabian Peninsula, the dance is usually performed by men carrying swords or canes and it’s accompanied by drums and spoken verse.
The most people dancing with hula hoops simultaneously is 652 and was achieved at an event organised by Chiryu Junior Chamber International (Japan) at Chiryu Higashi High School in Chiryu, Aichi, Japan, on 13 July 2014. The attempt was held as part of a community building event. The participants were mainly elementary school children from local schools. The dance choreography was done by Mr. Ueda of Japan Hoopdance Association.
The largest underwater cycle race involved 22 scuba divers competing along the the 60-m (196-ft) long, 3-m ( 10-ft) deep 2e2 Underwater Cycling Challenge in Havelet Bay, Guernsey, Channel Islands, UK on 10 September 2006. The most people crammed into an old style Volkswagen Beetle is 20 and was achieved by the Asbury University Emancipation Project (USA) at the Lexington Rescue Mission in Lexington, Kentucky, USA, on 9 December 2010. A 1964 Beetle was used for the attempt, which was organised to draw attention to human trafficking.
On 29 April 2000, a total of 25 people crammed into a standard VW Beetle in Kremser, Austria.
