The event was organized by the Lake Norman Elementary Parent Teacher Oganization.
The most people fist pumping was 5,726 led by MTV and the cast of Jersey Shore (USA) in Times Square, New York, New York, USA, on 31 December 2010. The event was a part of MTV’s “New Year’s Bash” telecast to ring in 2011. Mike Janela adjudicated.
The most people firewalking consecutively is 608 people and was achieved by Eastbourne Scouts, in Eastbourne, Wellington, New Zealand, on 28 April 2012. The event was organised by Eastbourne Scouts as a way to raise money for charity, promote scouting and to try to show local scouts that they can achieve anything if they put their mind to it. The attempt was part of an event called ‘America Sings! Los Angeles’, sponsored by America Sings! Inc. All participants danced a routine choreographed by John Jacobson to the song ‘Because We Sing’.
The most people inside a soap bubble is 214 and was achieved by Milka Bubbly and Matěj Kodeš (both Czech Republic) at Trade Fair Palace, Prague, Czech Republic, on 1 March 2014. The event was organised by the company Mondelēz for the launch of a new Milka chocolate product.
The most people in a thumb wrestling chain is 957 and was achieved by Junior Chamber International Osaka (Japan) at Osaka Castle Nishinomaru Garden, Osaka, Osaka, Japan, on 25 August 2012. The participants played thumb wrestling simultaneously in a continuous chain for 5 minutes. Twenty stewards observed the participants to make sure they were all playing.
The most people in a mobile phone game relay was 2,030 and was achieved by Nokia (Malaysia) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on 11 June 2011. The game played during the relay was ‘Angry Birds’. The game was played continuously, with each individual participant clearing or failing one level of the game, for a total of 10 hours. The reason that Nokia Malaysia decided to stage the record attempt was to strengthen the association between the highly popular game ‘Angry Birds’ and Nokia’s new smart phones.
