The most people treading grapes is 977 and was achieved by ACOBASA (Spain), at an event organised by Leticia Alfaya Lozano (Spain) in Labastida, Álava, Spain on 25 September 2010. Labastida is a village of 1,500 people located in the province of Álava, in the Basque Country, northern Spain. Its main industry is the production of wine. For this attempt 25.000 kg (27.56 tn) of grapes were used and 17.500 litres (3849.46 UK gal) of juice were squeezed.
The most people transplanting seedlings is 1,215 achieved by Council of Agriculture Executive Yuan on an event organized by Taoyuan County Farmers’ Association in Taoyuan, Chinese Taipei, on 18 August 2012. The record was broken by 1,215 participants aged from 16 to 96. They used 16 minutes 20 seconds to transplant more than 300,000 rice seedlings into 2 hectares of rice paddy.
The most people tossing pancakes is 890 and was achieved at an event organised by the University of Sheffield (UK), in Sheffield, UK, on 15 February, 2012. Although over 1,500 signed up for the event online a total of 930 participants attended, unfortunately 40 participants had to be discounted due to either dropping their pancake or not managing to toss their pancake within the allotted time.
The most people using mouthwash simultaneously is 1,974 and was achieved by Dr. Mario Lemay and Team (Canada) at the North Bay Memorial Gardens in North Bay, Ontario, Canada, on 12 December 2013. The record attempt took place during the first intermission of a North Bay Battalion ice hockey game, and utilized individual bottles of Crest Pro-Health mouthwash.
