Most swallowed sword

The sword known as The Sword of Swords has been swallowed by 40 of the world’s known sword-swallowers. The sword was made by Thomas Blackthorne (UK) in 1994 as a symbolic icon to link the otherwise solitary and disparate sword-swallower community. The Sword of Swords was also swallowed by famous Guinness World Record holders such as the most tattooed man, Lucky Diamond Rich (Australia, born New Zealand) and Natasha Veruschka (USA) who holds the record for having swallowed most swords simultaneously (13 swords).

Most sumo squats in one hour

The record for the most sumo squats in one hour is 5,135, and was achieved by Dr. Thienna Ho (Vietnam) at the San Francisco State University, in San Francisco, California, USA, on 16 December 2007. She was trying to attempt the most squats but the position was different to the squats made by the record holder at the time, Paddy Doyle, so the category of sumo squats was created. There are two candidates for the top scoring tank ace of all time, both of whom commanded German Tiger tanks during WWII. Kurt Knispel is credited with destroying 168 enemy tanks, while Otto Carius is said to have destroyed more than 150, although some sources claim a total as high as 200.

Most Successful Sports Movie Franchise

The Rocky franchise, running from Rocky (21 November 1976) to Rocky Balboa (20 December 2006), was the most successful sports movie franchise, grossing $1,251,372,491 throughout its six installments. Craig Glenday presented the Guinness World Records certificate to co-stars of Rocky IV, Sylvester Stallone and Dolph Lundgren, at Comic Con 2010, held in San Diego, USA, 22 to 25 July.
