The oldest operating scotch whisky distillery is the Strathisla Distillery in Keith, Banffshire, Scotland which was founded in 1786. The distillery was first called Milltown Distillery and had a string of licensees until 1830 when it was passed to William Longmore who owned it for 38 years. The world’s oldest operating bourbon whisky distillery is Maker’s Mark in Loretto, Kentucky, USA which has been distilling bourbon since 1805 and has been recognised as a National Historic Landmark.
Sun Picture Theatre, an open air theatre in Broome, Western Australia, Australia, first opened on 9 December 1916. It played silent films until 1933, when it showed its first “talkie” Monte Carlo (USA 1930) with Jeanette MacDonald (USA) and Jack Buchanan (USA). Patrons today still sit on deckchair benches.

Floyd “Creeky” Creekmore (USA, b. 14 July 1916), has been performing as Creeky the clown since the 1980s and was recognized as the oldest clown still working at the age of 95 years, 6 months, and 19 days on 3 February 2012. The oldest performing ballerina is Grete Brunvoll (Norway) (b. 27 July 1930). She began dancing at the age of 6 and her first professional performance was at the Nathionalteater in 1945, when she was 15 years old. She is now almost 80 years old and still trains everyday and does regualar public performances.
Vinny Testaverde (USA, b. 13 November 1963), playing for the New England Patriots, threw to team mate, Troy Brown (USA, b. 2 July 1971) on 31 December 2006 against the Tennessee Titans, making them the oldest combined ages for players connecting on an NFL touchdown pass with 78 years, 230 days.
