The fastest film produced (script to screen) is ‘Shotgun Garfunkel’, which was produced by Best Local Fast Sheep Productions (South Africa) in 10 days 10 hours and 30 minutes, in Johannesburg, South Africa, from 1-11 May 2013.

Best Local Fast Sheep Productions is a combination of 3 production companies, who joined forces for the purpose of the record attempt: Team Best (Asher Stoltz and Bryan van Niekerk), Localala Productions (Johnny Barbazano and Tiffany Barbazano), and Ghost Sheep Productions (Meren Reddy and Ryan Norwood-Young). These 6 individuals were the executive producers, writers, directors and actors of the film. The film depicts the story of a group of friends in their thirties, who try to relive their youth on a night out.
