Hayley Bateup (Australia), Jenna Worlock, Nicola Mocke (both South Africa) and Aline Paterson (USA) paddled across the Florida Strait between Cuba, and Key West, Florida, USA, a time of 25 hr 44 min from 9 to 10 July 2003.

As the crow flies, the distance is approximately 180 km (112 miles). They paddled in relay.
