Fastest unsupported (kite assisted) journey to the South Pole

The fastest unpowered journey to the South Pole was made my Børge Ousland (Norway), who travelled on skis with assistance from a parafoil kite, in 34 days from 15 November to 19 December 1996. The journey was solo and unsupported, meaning he received no outside assistance.

Note: This text is identical to the record for the Fastest solo unsupported (kite assisted) journey to the South Pole.
