The largest Catherine wheel measured 32.044 m (105 ft 1.56 in) in diameter and was built by Lily Fireworks Factory, in Mqabba, Malta, on 18 June 2011.

The structure was free-standing and the Catherine wheel completed 4 revolutions under its own propulsion.
