The greatest distance travelled nordic skiing in 24 hours was 433.459 km (269.34 miles) and was achieved by Teemu Virtanen (Finland) at Kuortane, Finland, on 16-17 November 2010.

Amazingly, Teemu Virtanen, took only two short breaks during his attempt and averaged a speed of 18 km/h throughout the journey.
