The highest vertical drop on a bicycle is 4.1 metres (13.45 feet) and was performed by Wayne Mahomet (UK) at the Dounby Show 2013 in Dounby, Orkney Islands, UK, on 8 August 2013.

Wayne failed in his first effort but was successful in his second attempt, landing with both feet on the pedals and then cycling away over the 3 metres required in the record guidelines. Wayne beat the previous record, a record that had stood for over 10 years, by a total of 10 cm.
