The largest playable bar chimes consist of 1,221 chimes and measures 19.58 metres (64 ft 2 in) in length. They were built by Universal Percussion Inc, TreeWorks Chimes, Tom Shelley and Mitch McMichen (all USA) and presented and played at the Drum Fest in Columbiana, Ohio, USA, on 28 August 2011.

The chimes were played during a song in a sweeping motion from one end to the other.
