The largest bird feeder holds 334.73 kg (760 lbs) of food and was created by the William Greene (USA). It was presented and measured in Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, USA, on 7 January 2012.
The feeder contains black oil sunflower seeds, millet, mixed fruits and nuts. The first bird to feed at the feeder was a Black Capped Chickadee within minutes after the feeder was set up.
