The largest bowl of porridge weighs 865 kg (1,905 lb 5 oz) and was achieved by OOO “Tula ProduKt” in association with “SuperSpa” (both Russia) in Tula, Russia, on 10 September 2011.

The record attempt was dedicated to the 865th anniversary of the founding of the City of Tula. The porridge was cooked in a giant pot, 1.69 m (5 ft 6.48 in) in diameter and 0.9 m (2 ft 11.4 in) in depth. The porridge was cooked on an open fire oven using birch tree firewood. The porridge was then donated to the public.
