Largest charango

The largest charango (South American guitar) ever made measures 6.13 m (20 ft 1 in) long, and 1.13 m (3 ft 7 in) across and was commissioned by the Town Hall of Belisario Boeto, Villa Serrano, Chuquisaca, Bolivia, and presented on 15 January 2004.

The charango was presented as a homage to the Master of Charango, Mauro Nunez Caceres (Bolivia) on the occasion of his 101st birthday.
