Ortrud Kastaun (Germany) has a collection of 1,610 different clown-related items, as of 3 June 2010, that she has collected since 1995.

As Ms Kastaun’s flat had become too small for her growing clown collection, she moved to a larger flat and opened a private clown museum in 2001 (http://www.ortys-clownmuseum.de).
