Jacky Cheung Hok Yau was born on 10 July 1961. He is a Hong Kong singer, songwriter and actor. He is regarded by Chinese language media as one of the Cantopop Four Heavenly Kings(the other three singers are Aaron Kwok, Andy Lau and Leon Lai). Jacky Cheung Hok Yau is also nicknamed “god of Songs”. His music career started when he won the Amateur 18-Hong Kong district singing contest in 1984.In the 1994 Billboard Music Awards in the US, he was named the most popular singer in Asia. He has been very successful in music and acting, and has become one of icons in China.
