The largest elephant buffet involved 269 Asian elephants gathering to eat over 50 tonnes (110,000 lb) of fruit and vegetables from tables during the annual elephant parade held on 14 November 2003 in the Surin Province, Thailand.

The tables are 80-120 cm (30-47 in) high and 400 m (1,312 ft) long and are covered with silk cloth with the food laid out on them. Food includes pineapples, watermelons, cucumbers and sugarcane.
